Musician AR Rahman’s six-and-half-year-old son, Alim sang a full song for a Hollywood flick Couples Retreat.
It was a proud and unbelievable moment for the music maestro to release that his kid has made way to the music world. AR.Rahman himself has composed music for the song. Alim wants to become a playback singer. So wasting no time he delivered his first song just at the age of six-and-half.
One source revealed, “AR.Rahman’s family and people in his office have still not got over the fact that Rahman’s little son has sung the song. They are very excited and happy and can’t stop talking about it. His mom and dad are very proud of him.”
The young singer sang full song for the Hollywood film, Couples Retreat, which is a comedy film starring Jason Bateman, Vince Vaughn and Kristen Bell. The film is being directed by Peter Billingsley. However the song has the light theme and the film is slated to release at the end of 2009...
